The MOA is partnering with The Wilmer Eye Institute to present “Evidence Based Care in Contact Lenses, Corneal Therapeutics and Glaucoma” on March 30, 2008 at the Turner Auditorium on the Johns Hopkins campus in Baltimore.

This is an innovative, high-energy meeting featuring a live, multi-speaker, clinically relevant format. Geared toward the optometric profession but open to all professionals, the event will feature three 30-minute lectures followed by a 30 minute panel discussion in each section.

Get answers from a prestigious group of optometrists and opthalmologists on questions like “For LASIK and Cataract patients, what should be the Post-operative eyedrop regimens?” and “In glaucoma care, what are the key therapeutic variables in deciding to add an ophthalmic instrument to your office?”

Oliver D. Schein, MD, M.P.H., is a Burton E. Grossman Professor of Ophthalmology at The Wilmer Eye Institute and carries a joint appointment in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Roy S. Chuck, MD, Ph.D.
is the Tom Clancy Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of Refractive Surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute.
David S Friedman, MD, M.P.H. is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology Glaucoma Training Program (Harry Quigley, Henry Jampel, Alan Robin) July 1996 - June 1998.
Peter Lalle, OD, F.A.A.O. is Chief of Optometry Baltimore VAMHCS, member Optometric Glaucoma Society.

Elliott H. Myrowitz, OD, M.P.H. is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Chief of Optometric Services at the Wilmer Eye Institute.

Michael V. Boland, MD, Ph.D. is a Glaucoma specialist and an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute.

Richard H. Schoen, OD is a Clinical Associate at the Wilmer Eye Institute.

Ashley Behrens, MD is a Cornea, Refractive Surgery and External Diseases Specialist, and is an Assistant Professor at the Wilmer Eye Institute.
