Nina Doyle Honored with Young OD of the Year Award
BALTIMORE
Dr.
Nina Doyle of Crofton was presented with the Young OD of the
Year Award at the Maryland Optometric Association's (MOA)
2006 Awards lunch on November 12 held at the exclusive Hyatt
Regency Baltimore in downtown Baltimore. The awards lunch
is part of the MOA's annual Convention and Education Forum.
Dr. Doyle was recognized for all of her efforts and dedicated
service in promoting the MOA and other Maryland Optometrists.
She was awarded most notably for her active participation
in health and low vision fairs.
The convention was a successful weekend that treated participants
to educational courses, networking opportunities with fellow
professionals, and prestigious guest speakers that discussed
the latest updates on various topics in the Optometric profession.
The MOA is a non-profit professional association dedicated
to providing its members with the resources necessary to deliver
the highest standard of professional eye care to the citizens
of Maryland. It is the leader in providing continuing education
for doctors of optometry and the "Voice of Optometry"
before the Maryland General Assembly and the Board of Optometric
Examiners.
